The next version of Spontaneous is currently in development. This version, completely re-written from the ground up, is even more powerful and even easier to use (for both developers & content editors). What's more, it's completely open-source.
Spontaneous is a system born of the diverse needs of rich online content married with necessity for a delightful user experience.
The process of publishing information online has been dissected and rebuilt into a system that enables the creation of a complex, diverse and growing website through a set of extremely simple actions.
This has resulted in a complete separation of content and delivery that makes spontaneous uniquely flexible, customisable and beautiful to use.
Because no site is the same and no page within a site is either, customisation is intrinsic to what spontaneous is. A site's structure, content and needs are analysed and embodied in a set of straightforward user actions, all wrapped in a rock-solid edit/review/publish cycle that leaves you in total control of what appears on your site and when.
Finally spontaneous takes as much care of the final users of your site as it does the people maintaining it. Sites powered by spontaneous are extremely responsive and quick to load.
